Scouting County
The Prestwich, Radcliffe and Whitefield Scouting District consists of a collection of 10 groups and a District HQ across 3 townships. We are members of the district, and often participate in district activities, including camping trips and church parades and services. We have a proud history of dedicated, action-packed and adventurous Scouting, delivered to such a wide community.
In Middleton, we have an excellent headquarters. It has meeting rooms, a large kitchen, 11 bedrooms with sleeping for 48 and an outside enclosed secure area with a firepit, crate stacking and space for camping.
We now have a fabulous County Shop, based in our County HQ. Here you can buy uniforms, badges, memorabilia, certificates and all sorts of scouting goods. The shop is open most Mondays from 7:15 until 9pm, and some weekends.
